Relaxed ascent for maximum fun in the snow. We offer
varied slopes for beginners and advanced skiers.
A 30 m conveyor belt makes getting into winter sports child’s play. It offers a gentle ascent and gives newcomers the opportunity to get used to the feeling of being on snow. So nothing stands in the way of enjoying the sport.
Our 100m conveyor belt takes you up to the top in a relaxed manner and you can look forward to maximum fun in the snow. Whether you are on a sledge, ski or snowboard – the relaxing ascent gives you more energy for the descent.
The T-bar lift offers a variety of skiing fun with three different downhill options. In addition to exciting wave runs and a specially designed children’s fun slope, both experienced skiers and children get their money’s worth.
A variety of downhill runs provide varied fun in the snow for beginners and advanced skiers.
If the snow conditions allow, undulating tracks and hills are created.
We attach great importance to freshly groomed pistes.

By car
The Kalte Herberge ski lift is located directly on the B500 between Hinterzarten and Furtwangen in the Black Forest. You can reach the ski lift from the Freiburg, Villingen-Schwenningen, Simonswäldertal and Donaueschingen areas in up to 30 minutes.
By public transportation
The Panoramabus connects the Kalte Herberge with Triberg via Furtwangen to Thurner on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. You can find a detailed timetable here.
